So if you’ve done any research on Korea at all, you’ve probably heard that it’s hot and humid in the summer. I live near SF, California, which means I’m accustomed to cold, grey and foggy. So when I stepped out of my airplane and into the terminal connecting me to Icheon Airport, I was assailed by a gust of thick warm air that clung to my skin. It wasn’t horrible, but I was uncomfortable.
I didn’t bring a single pair of pants, which I thought might have been a mistake, but I think I made the right decision. I do wish I brought long pj pants though because I like being bundled up when I go to sleep (and our room at Sk Global has air conditioning!)
Hottest time of the day is 2-4 I think. I’m uncomfortably hot and sweaty from about 12-6pm every day.
At night it’s pretty nice. It’s warm, so you can still go out in shorts and a tank, but its not disgustingly hot like it is during the day.
